What-If Weaver is a desktop application that runs on your device. The short version: we have very little of your data because almost none of it ever leaves your computer. Your financial scenarios, account balances, and projections are stored locally and never transmitted anywhere.

What We Collect

When you purchase a license:

Your email address, used for license key delivery and update notifications
Payment information, processed by LemonSqueezy — we never see your credit card details
Your country, for tax compliance purposes

When you use the app:

Your license key is verified against LemonSqueezy's servers on first activation and periodically (approximately once per month) to confirm its validity
No financial data, scenarios, projections, or personal information is transmitted during this verification

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect:

Your financial scenarios, account balances, income, expenses, or any numbers you enter into the app
Usage telemetry, analytics, or behavioral data of any kind
Your IP address beyond what is inherent in any network request
Cookies, beyond what your browser uses on this website

Where Your Data Lives

All financial data you enter into What-If Weaver is stored on your local device. We have no copy of it. We cannot access it. If you uninstall the app and delete your data folder, the data is gone — we cannot recover it for you.

You can export your data at any time using File → Export from within the app. The exported .whatifweaver file is yours to keep, back up, or transfer.

Third Parties

Two third parties interact with your data:

LemonSqueezy processes your payment and handles license key issuance and verification. They store associated purchase information per their privacy policy.
A transactional email provider delivers your license key and any update notifications to your email address.

We do not sell, rent, or share your information with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.

Your Rights

You may:

Request a copy of any data we hold about you — your email address and license records
Request deletion of your account and associated data. Note that this will disable future license verification, effectively deactivating your copy of the app.
Opt out of update notification emails at any time by contacting us

This Website

Whatifweaver.com is a static marketing site. We do not run analytics, advertising scripts, or tracking pixels on it. Standard server logs may record IP addresses and request data as part of normal web hosting operation; these are not used for profiling or targeted advertising.

Changes to This Policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify existing customers by email.

Governing Law

This privacy policy is governed by the laws of the State of New Hampshire, United States.
